Purification: >60% pure (SDS-PAGE). Ion-exchange chromatography and gel-filtration.
Concentration: protein activity: 0.5mg/ml (ELISA)
Buffer: 0.1M Tris/HCl, 5mM Mg2SO4, 0.25M KCl, pH 7.5
Preservative: 0.05% NaN3
Applications: Tested in ELISA and immunoblotting with anti-NSE antibodies. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Storage: Store at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Inactivation: Not applicable.
Warnings: All human source materials have tested negative for HIV 1, HIV 2, HCV antibodies, HBsAg and Syphilis. No test guarantees a product to be non-infectious. Therefore, all material derived from human fluids or tissues should be considered as potentially infectious.
